Acceptable Use Policy

1. Prohibited Content

You may not create, upload, post, or share any memes, images, text, or media that contain or promote any of the following:

• Illegal Activity: Content that facilitates, encourages, or instructs others on how to commit unlawful acts.
• Child Exploitation: Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any content that exploits or harms minors in any way.
• Hate Speech & Harassment: Material that promotes violence, incites hatred, or harasses individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, nationality, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
• Violence & Threat: Explicit threats of bodily harm, self-harm, terrorism, or graphic violence.
• Sexually Explicit Material: Non-consensual sexual content, pornographic images, or sexually explicit media.
• Defamation & Malicious Misinformation: False, deceptive, or defamatory content created with the intent to harm, defraud, or maliciously impersonate individuals or entities.
• Intellectual Property Infringement: Content that infringes on third-party copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets without authorization or fair use rights.

2. Prohibited System & Network Activity

Users must respect the technical integrity and operation of the Service. You agree not to engage in any of the following technical abuses:

• Attempting to bypass, disable, or tamper with security mechanisms, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), or rate limiters.
• Launching automated attacks, Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) floods, or executing aggressive scraping scripts that degrade performance for other users.
• Uploading or linking to viruses, malware, trojans, ransomware, or phishing pages.
• Attempting unauthorized access to server infrastructure, database backups, or administrative endpoints.

3. User Content & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the original text and content you submit to GenMyMeme. However, by uploading custom images or generating public share links on the Service, you represent and warrant that you possess the necessary rights or fair use permissions to use such content.

4. Enforcement & Moderation

We reserve the right, but do not assume the obligation, to monitor, review, or moderate content uploaded or generated through GenMyMeme. In the event of a violation of this Policy:

• We may immediately delete violating memes, share links, or uploaded images without prior warning.
• We may block or rate-limit IP addresses associated with abusive automated requests or severe policy violations.
• We will cooperate fully with law enforcement authorities in cases involving illegal material or safety threats.

5. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content hosted on GenMyMeme that violates this Acceptable Use Policy or infringes your copyright, please report it immediately to our moderation team:
